Programs and Services

Organization and Professional Development

  • Strategic Planning

Our methodology underlying the strategic planning process includes involving stakeholders in participatory planning.  We believe that in order for plans to be sustainable and meaningful, the people who will carry them out must create them.  We strive to involve participants in an engaging and relevant discussion about the needs of the organization the complex environment that we all operate in today.  This process is collaborative, responsive, and structured, resulting in strategic plans that are significant and actionable.

We utilize planning tools that focus the discussion and assist participants in getting to the real issues facing the organization and the strategies that address them.  We ensure that your strategic plan will result in real action that heads your organization the direction necessary for sustainability and relevance in your market or industry.

  • 30/30™

This unique program comes after years of delivering supervisory training to literally thousands of supervisors.   The content of this program is built on the skills and behaviors most requested by employers and most needed by work-teams to perform well.

Traditional performance-based training requires a significant investment on the part of the employer, the supervisor and, of course, the employees.  Occasionally this investment pays off.  However, in more instances than not, once the training ends and the glow and novelty of new skills and concepts wears off, the participant falls back on old habits.

Ultimately, the goal of supervisory and leadership training is to increase work-team morale and productivity that leads to high individual, team, and organizational performance.  When this phenomenon happens successfully, the result is nothing short of spectacular.  The challenge is that it just does not happen often enough or long enough with most traditional experiential-based training.  Of course, classroom and online training are a valid and necessary means to learn new skills, but when an employer demands increased productivity and innovation from work-teams, we need new methods.

We agonized over the discontinuity of traditional training and often wondered if there was a better way.  We recognized that as we trained supervisors, the employees they supervised were skeptically awaiting their return.  The work-teams are often left out of the picture until the supervisor chooses to share the knowledge and make them active partners in initiating change, and even then, they are not given the training.

We believe the best way to increase morale and productivity leading to higher performance is to use the age-old principle of adding a “drop to the bucket” over a period and empowering the supervisor to add that drop.  When the supervisor assumes the role of facilitator, trainer, and expert coach, the work-team moves into high-performance.  The supervisor-subordinate relationship strengthens and trust emerges as a result.

Quantum Competencies™

This innovative program trains teachers and trainers how to integrate hard and soft skill development simultaneously in one program.  Employers increasingly call for communication, and other so-called “soft” skills, as well as technical abilities in employees.  Career and Technical Education programs at community colleges are struggling to provide employers with a well-rounded workforce, and this program is an answer to that dilemma.

One-on-one executive coaching assists leaders in clarifying and implementing organizational change initiatives and other opportunities.  We concentrate on improving the areas that offer the most advantage for the individual and the organization.
